Soon after earning her B.A. in Political Science from UC San Diego and her J.D. from California Western School of Law, Yasmine entered that fast-paced world of personal injury law. With fierce determination, conviction, and a passion for justice, she has recovered more than $1 billion in settlements and verdicts since founding her firm 13 years ago. Anthony Vargas is the Of Counsel Trial Attorney with the Law Office of Yasmine Djawadian, focusing on all litigation and trial related matters. Anthony started his career at the Public Defender’s Office in San Diego for over five years, where he lived in the courtroom advocating for people’s rights and gained valuable experience trying misdemeanor and felony cases. He has been honored by his peers and colleagues as a multiple time recipient of the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal for Excellence in Advocacy. Anthony also teaches law students trial skills at California Western School of Law, and teaches practicing attorneys trial skills with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). Anthony takes immense pride in advocating for his clients’ rights and telling their story in the most impactful way possible so they receive the justice they deserve.
Ajay M. Kwatra was born in India and moved to Iowa as a child, growing up in Des Moines, the son of a cardiologist. He came to San Diego California in the mid 1990s to attend law school. Soon after graduating, he hung his own shingle and has been representing personal injury clients since 1996. He has settled millions of dollars in claims, successfully litigating for the rights of California workers, patients, and consumers.
Mr. Kwatra is a member of the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, groups dedicated to the protection of the rights of injured parties.
Prior to dedicating himself exclusively to Personal Injury law, Mr. Kwatra represented medical malpractice victims, litigating an array of negligence claims against doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and emergency facilities. He enjoyed success both settling and trying medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases.
Mr. Kwatra earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa and his law degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He remains very involved with his law school’s alumni committee.

Although Sara was originally born and raised on the central coast, her parents originate from Oceanside, California with her extended family still being local and native to San Diego County. After she graduated Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with her bachelor’s degree, Sara navigated her way back down to San Diego and has resided in America’s finest city for over 16 years. Sara holds over 20 years of sales, client relations, and marketing experience that have finetuned her into the caring and active force she is for Queen Yasmine Injury Law. When she is not assisting our clients or medical partners, you can find her organizing and hosting community events, frequenting local eateries and spending time with her friends and family.
Cassandra works as one of our dedicated and experienced case managers. She assists our team of attorneys and clients with medical records, medical treatment, and their overall needs. Cassandra brings to the table 9 years of legal administration experience. She has always expressed a need to help others. Prior to working in the legal field, she worked in nursing taking care of those who could not care for themselves. Her desire to help others translates to her work at Queen Yasmine Injury Law where you will always be greeted with a caring and compassionate voice.
Outside of the office, you can find Cassandra enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and playing football with her two kids and dogs.
Nelia works as one of our caring, compassionate, and analytical case managers. With her keen attention to detail, she always makes sure our client’s needs are taken care of. Nelia is also the heart and soul of our Loan Servicing and Loss Mitigation Department. She brings over 30 years of Mortgage Banking experience in the areas of collections, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and home Retention/loss Mitigation. Due to her vast experience, we were able to help many homeowners and borrowers retain their homes.
Noor is a seasoned litigation assistant with a wealth of experience in the legal field. With years of expertise as a paralegal and a background in marketing, she brings a unique blend of skills and knowledge to her role. She has an unwavering passion for the law and a commitment to serving attorneys and clients. Noor graduated from Cuyamaca College with an AS in Paralegal Studies and also holds a BA from San Diego State University in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources.
Noor’s attention to detail, research capabilities, and organizational skills are key to her role in supporting attorneys and the entire team in handling litigation cases. Outside of work, Noor enjoys cooking, daily prayer, experimenting with coffee recipes, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Diana is one of our client coordinators. She has over 10 years of experience providing tailored administrative support and customer service in several industries such as hospitality, educational institutions, child life development, and sciences. Her diverse background stems from her desire to help her community and give back to others through her career. Health wellness and caring about others are the reasons she pursued her bachelors degree in health sciences from CSU Fullerton. She is passionate about the wellbeing of others and believes clients should receive quality first hand care and support. In her free time, Diana enjoys traveling, cooking, participating in sports, and being around her dogs and all other animals.
